Headed into the wild, wild north

This morning we are leaving the relative luxury of the Billabong Hotel and are headed north to our house build are in Preah Vihear province.  A 6-7 hour drive along roads which have suffered dearly during the last rainy season will bring us to the provincial capital, Tbeang Meanchey, our home base for the next 3 nights.  Tomorrow morning we will be up bright and early for our 1+ hour drive to the village where we will build 10 houses - hopefully 6 the first day and then another 4 on the second.  We want to extend all our sponsors and supporters, past and present, a big thank you for allowing the Rockin4Tabitha team to continue to help Khmers who truly need and deserve the opportunity for a better life.

We may not have internet access while in Tbeang Meanchey, but you can be assured that I will post pictures and a summary as soon as I can!  After the build, we are headed into the wild, wild east of Cambodia, to Ratanakiri province, for the field work part of the trip - to hunt for more zircons!

Let the adventure begin!
